WW1 Commemoration Weekend in Westerham

A busy, busy weekend on the green for us in conjunction with the Tudor Rose Tea Rooms to set up and produce a variety of foods to cater for all the visitors who came to Westerham on the weekend of 26th. and 27th. July.

Much thought and hard work had been put into making the whole event a combination of celebration, fun and sombre reflection and all involved must be wholeheartedly congratulated… there are far better qualified people than us who can put into words all that took place over the weekend, suffice to say the feedback we and Sally and John at the Tudor Rose have received has been incredible.

So thanks to all the staff, all the volunteers and especially ALL the visitors who helped make the event the great success it was!Laurenthe girls! parade marquee

Well into the sunny season now and it has been a busy time for us at it foods…

Not only at The Courtyard but our function work has been keeping us on our toes!

Weddings, anniversaries, birthday parties, family gatherings, really all sorts of occasions, all sorts of locations and all sorts of menus!!

And with this fine weather the golf clubs have also picked up and we are now catering for 4 or 5 match meals and other functions at both on a weekly basis!

All this detail above  is simply our way of explaining why we haven’t been updating the web site as much as we would wish!

We have plans in hand to prevent this happening in the future but for now… SORRY!

We will endeavour to post news and updates on at least a weekly basis (more often if warranted!) and to add to our menu selection to give you a fuller picture of all that we can offer!

In the meantime we hope you are enjoying this wonderful weather and if you wish to get in touch at any time with any enquiry however big or small then please use the form on this site!

Quiz Night update!

Belated news on the Westerham quiz night held at Westerham Hall on Friday 28th. February…

In the end we fed 262 quizzers and ‘staff’ packed into the hall for what was a hugely fun and fantastically successful fund raising evening…

Not easy to get them all fed in the time window we had but with great staff AND the customers themselves in good humour and willing to help we achieved it with time to spare!

All in all a great event and we look forward to next year already!!

Mind you short of feeding them in the kitchen itself I think we’ve reached the limit numbers wise!

A very successful evening on the 5th. at The Gallagher Stadium, home of Maidstone United Football Club…

After a tour of the stadium the seminar guests heard various talks on the need to regenerate business opportunities in Kent during a recession.

In between we served the very same guests…

The first time the Kent Ambassadors had been to Maidstone United but generally feeling is it won’t be the last!

Burns Night Suppers

This Saturday we shall be catering for two completely different Burns Night Suppers…

One will be a hot rolling style buffet, where guests can come up and sample some haggis and neeps say and then return for our Scotch pies…

Whilst the second function will be a more traditional affair… A four course meal comprising of…


Haggis an’ a’ the trimmins

Chicken in a lavender honey and lemon sauce

Chocolate and whisky fool

Of course both will have the Haggis piped in to a standing ovation followed by the ‘Address to a Haggis’ and no doubt both will have plenty of drams to accompany it all… a good time for all!!
